GlassCore full-glass home elevator cabin in a modern living space

GlassCore, the full-glass panoramic home elevator

A cabin made almost entirely of tempered glass, so the lift adds light to your stairwell instead of blocking it. GlassCore is the model people choose when the elevator is meant to be seen.

What GlassCore is for

GlassCore is built around a tempered laminated glass cabin carried on a slim structural frame. Because the enclosure is transparent on up to three sides, the shaft reads as a piece of architecture rather than a boxed-in service riser, which matters a great deal in the double-height entrance halls and open stairwells common in newer Karachi and Lahore homes.

It is the most requested model in our range, and the one that changes a house the most visibly. It is also the model that needs the most careful survey: glass is unforgiving about out-of-plumb walls, so we measure the void properly before quoting.

  • Double-height entrance halls and feature stairwells
  • Homes where the lift will be visible from the living areas
  • Light wells and courtyards where you want to keep the view
  • New builds where the shaft can be planned into the design

What comes built into GlassCore

A premium full-glass elevator cabin designed to create an open and luxurious experience.

Panoramic on up to three sides

Tempered laminated safety glass to all visible faces, so daylight travels through the shaft instead of stopping at it.

Laminated safety glazing

Glass is laminated, not just toughened. If it is ever impacted it holds together rather than dropping out of the frame.

Slimline structural frame

The load frame is kept as narrow as the engineering allows so the glass, not the steel, is what you notice.

Counterweighted rope drive

A counterweighted mechanism on a dual wire rope suspension, geared for gentle acceleration, which matters when every movement is visible through glass.

Choice of frame finish

Powder-coated white, matte black, champagne or brushed stainless to match the joinery around it.

Call buttons at every landing

Digital floor indicators and call buttons on all levels, so the cabin can be brought to you from any floor.

GlassCore, frequently asked

The questions homeowners ask us most often about this model.

Is the glass safe if something hits it?

Yes. GlassCore uses laminated safety glass, which is two panes bonded to an interlayer. If it is struck hard enough to crack, the interlayer holds the fragments in place rather than letting the pane fall out. This is the same class of glass used in balustrades and shopfronts.

Does a glass cabin get hot in Karachi summers?

Solar gain only becomes a factor when the shaft sits against a west-facing external wall with direct sun. Where that is the case we specify solar-control or tinted glass on the exposed face and add cabin ventilation. We will flag it at survey if your location needs it.

How much cleaning does it need?

About the same as a glass shower screen or a balustrade, a wipe with glass cleaner every week or two keeps it looking right. The frame finishes are all wipe-clean. There is no special maintenance product required.

Can GlassCore be installed outside the building?

Yes, with an external-grade frame finish and appropriate glazing. If the lift is going on an outside wall, our EnclosureX model is often the better structural answer. We will tell you which one suits your wall at survey.
