Do I need a machine room for a Vertico home elevator?
No. Vertico home elevators are machine-room-less designs. The drive system is housed within the shaft structure itself, so you do not need to give up a separate room on your roof or in your basement.
Can a home lift be installed in an already built house?
Yes. Most of our installations are retrofits into completed homes. Because our systems need no deep pit and no machine room, a lift can usually be added to a stairwell void, a light well, an outdoor wall or an internal corner without structural demolition.
How many floors can a Vertico home elevator serve?
Our residential range is engineered for buildings up to G+3, which covers the vast majority of houses and small apartment blocks in Pakistan. Taller requirements are quoted case by case after a survey.
How long does installation take?
After the site survey and final drawing approval, fabrication and installation typically run a few weeks depending on the model, cabin finish and number of stops. We confirm a schedule in writing before work begins.
What happens if the power goes out while someone is inside?
Load shedding is a normal part of life here, so backup is one of the first things we settle at survey rather than something you discover later. Every unit has an emergency stop function as standard, and your quotation states in writing exactly what backup arrangement is included for your installation before you commit to anything.
