A Karachi workshop that happens to make elevators
Vertico Elevators exists because too many Pakistani homeowners are told their house cannot take a lift. Most of the time that is not true. It just needs a system designed around the building instead of a catalogue box forced into it.
Modern lifts, made and installed by the same people
Vertico Elevators is a Pakistani elevator company specialising in residential and home elevator solutions. We are based in Karachi, we fabricate at our own plot in Korangi Industrial Area, and we install with our own team.
Home elevators in Pakistan have moved from a luxury to a practical part of modern residential building. Multi-storey houses are the norm, families live across generations under one roof, and the stairs that were fine at forty are a problem at seventy. A lift is often the difference between a parent staying in the family home and having to move out of it.
What we build is deliberately narrow in scope: stylish, reliable, space-saving residential lifts for homes and buildings up to G+3 floors, with modern safety features and finishes that suit the interiors they sit in. We would rather do that one thing properly than offer everything.
Safety, elegance and reliability, in that order
Our mission is to deliver modern home and residential elevator solutions that combine safety, elegance and reliability, with customised systems designed to improve comfort and accessibility in every home we work in.
Quality craftsmanship
Cutting, welding, finishing and assembly happen under our own roof, where we can reject work that is not right instead of accepting what a subcontractor delivers.
Safety first
Every unit is a counterweighted lift on a dual wire rope suspension, running on a wall-mounted C-channel guide track, with an emergency stop function fitted as standard.
Customer commitment
The person who surveys your home stays involved through fabrication, installation and handover. You are not passed between departments.
Modern innovation
Wall-mounted guide tracks, no machine room and self-supporting structures are what let us put lifts into houses that older technology could not serve.
Reliability & performance
Smooth acceleration, quiet running and components chosen because spares are available in Pakistan, not because they were cheapest at the time of purchase.
Support that lasts
An elevator is a long relationship. Annual maintenance plans, local spares and Karachi-based engineers are how we keep that relationship working.
The survey comes before the sales pitch
We will not quote a home elevator from a phone call. Shaft voids are never the dimension people remember, power supplies are rarely where the drawing says, and the difference between a lift that fits and one that does not is usually a few centimetres.
So the first thing we do is come and measure. You get an honest answer about which of our four models will physically work in your house, including, occasionally, the answer that none of them will. That is a better outcome for both of us than finding out after a deposit.
- Free site survey with measurements taken on site
- A drawing you can show your architect or contractor
- Itemised quotation, structure, cabin, drive, civil, commissioning
- Written schedule agreed before fabrication starts
- Handover demonstration, safety briefing and warranty on paper
